Transferring website ownership

1. Feature Overview

Data4 allows transferring website ownership between teams or accounts.
Navigate to: Settings → [Website Data] → [Transfer Website]

• Click "Transfer" to move sites:
  • To other teams in your account
  • To teams in other Data4 accounts

Limit: Max 5 successful transfers per account within 24 hours

2. Transfer to Your Other Teams

1. Select transfer type: "My Other Teams"

2. In "Transferable Teams" dropdown:

   • Lists teams where you're Super Admin

3. Choose destination team

4. Enter password → Click "Transfer"
   Ownership updates immediately upon confirmation

3. Transfer to Other Accounts

1. Select type: "Other User Teams"

2. Enter:

   • Recipient's registered Data4 email

   • Their team name in "Recipient Team" dropdown

3. Enter password → Click " Transfer"
   Process flow:

• Recipient receives "Accept Website Transfer " email

• Clicks confirmation link  (valid 24hrs)

• Accepts on transfer page → Ownership transferred

Rejection: Click refusal link or ignore email

Critical Notes:

• Post-Transfer Permissions:
  Original team loses access. New team admins must reassign permissions.

• Share Links: Remain active after transfer.

• Restriction: Short Link Statistics cannot be transferred.
